Teaching
I believe art allows people to express themselves creatively; art promotes individuality and bolsters self-confidence. Art can bring joy to a person's life. With those concepts in mind I strive for every learner to achieve a sense of accomplishment and pride in their artwork. My mission as a teacher is to have every participant meet their personal goals. I teach all ages but especially love lifelong learners; people who are doing something else with their lives and at some point wish to create thought-provoking visual representations. Witnessing their joy of discovery and sense of achievement is gratifying to observe. I learn a great deal from the people in my classes and have noticed that we all come away newly inspired and greatly enriched by our own work and by the creations of others.
